This Paperweight was a non-commercial special model marked Rotterdam Lloyd Royal Dutch Mail – a major shipping company founded in 1883.
The Original Box was marked Nandi – Nandi I the bull that serves as as the mount of the Hindi god Shiva and is a symbol of fertility .
The literature suggests that this piece was limited to a 100 pieces however it could well be more were made.
Measuring 9cm by 4cm
