National Shipping

We deliver nationwide! The cost of delivery is dependent on the delivery address and weight of your order.
The delivery cost will be calculated at checkout.

Art, Furniture, and Bronzes have a standard shipping rate included upon purchase- extra fees may apply you will be billed any extra costs prior to shipping.

Local courier companies do not offer insurance on antique items- you may add this to your personal insurance prior to courier.

Small items 3-5 working days ( excluding the day of order, weekends, and public holidays )
Please note delivery and or courier to outlying areas of South Africa always incurs extra costs. 

Free Shipping

Free shipping across South Africa on parcels weighing less than 5kgs or less- this will be applied at checkout if applicable.
Free shipping doesn’t apply to Bronzes, Art, or Furniture of parcels over 5kgs.
Excludes International courier parcels
Free shipping is not included in special promotions and Black Friday Sales.

Collection of orders at our Warehouse

Once your payment has cleared, and your order has been processed, you will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

International Shipping

We offer Worldwide Shipping and will supply you with two courier options:

  • International Shipping ( Less than 5 Kg )
  • International Shipping ( More than 5 Kg )

Please select the correct option based on your order.


International Shipping ( Less than 5 Kg ): A small parcel is a maximum of 24 x 30 x 24 cm and less than 5kg in weight.


International Shipping ( More than 5 Kg ): A medium parcel is 40 x 30 x 30 cm and can weigh up to 10kg in weight.

With most of our items, we have included the size and height in the description so you will be able to know more or less the size of the box.
Fragile items always are double boxed which increases weight but will ensure the safety of the item at your destination.


The above is a flat base rate and will be charged on the checkout page.
The final shipping cost will be calculated after you place the order. Any extra fees will be charged separately via PayPal.
If the courier costs are less than the flat rate charged, a refund will be sent via Paypal.
Areas with remote access or countries that are remote may impact courier costs.

How Long Does International Shipping Take?


Most countries from South Africa have a three to five-day courier time once the parcel has left our store.

Can I Track My Order?


Yes, you can.
Once your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number that can be used to check your parcel’s progress.

Duties and Taxes

Please note that orders shipped internationally may be subject to customs or duties in addition to a Goods and Services Tax.
If you have any notes to be added for clearance into your country please notify us via email and we will add these to the description.

International Shipping Disclaimer

International customers must pay applicable sales tax, duties, and customs charges which are determined by your local government and vary by country. 
Clyde on 4th Antiques is not responsible for these charges; the recipient is responsible for any duties and taxes incurred. Charges are assessed to the recipient at the time of delivery.

Shipping Protection

We can arrange insurance to provide protection against physical loss or damage to your goods during transportation – this is an optional extra fee, please notify us via email upon booking the courier should you require it.

Buyer Protection

In the event that you receive an item that is significantly not as described or that has been damaged in transit, we will work with you to reach a resolution.

Your purchase is eligible for buyer protection if:

  • The item was significantly damaged in transit or never arrived. This will be covered by the method you have chosen to use for the delivery of the item. Be sure to ask for a copy of the insurance policy on the item.
  • For damaged insured goods be sure to file the claim within the time frame outlined by the courier company’s insurance.
  • Your purchase is not eligible for buyer protection if:
  • You are returning an accurately described item, outside of the seller’s stated return policy
  • You elected to arrange your own shipping or pick the item up in person.
  • If you elected to use a service provider that offers signed-for postage/courier options with no insurance option.
