The main objective of Clyde on 4th, is to provide a haven for collectors collecting Georgian, Art Nouveau, Art-Deco and 1950’s objects.Clyde takes pride in trying to help collectors to find what they are looking for and has helped to add to many fine collections world wide.As a child Clyde would always be in Antique shops and at auction sales where a strong foundation was set by the fine shops that were to be found in his home town.

In addition to running his business in Melville he recently took over the running of South Africa’s longest running Collectables fair, the Sandton Sun, and relocated it to the Sandton Square, South Africa’s most prestigious shopping mall.
Born and raised on the South Coast, Clyde Terry, of Clyde on 4th in Johannesburg is one of the leading antique dealers in the country. Clyde is also the country’s foremost antique fair organiser and is credited with transforming the antiques and collectables market into a vibrant and sustainable industry, encouraging younger people to take an interest in collecting antiques. He organises the biggest monthly antiques fair in the country which takes place on the first Sunday of every month at the prestigious Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton, Johannesburg where close to 70 antique dealers exhibit from all over the country.
