In the 19th century Berry Spoons were popularised for serving berries with beautiful embossed berry and fruit detail to the bowl. This pair is lightly gilded in the bowl of the spoon with lovely detail to the handle . They remain with no monogram in original box for the retailer The Sussex Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Of Brighton. The box is in lovely condition although the hinge is broken to the one side.The spoons are in excellent condition with crisp hallmarks for the period
