Beatrix Potter

Beswick Beatrix Potter figurines were introduced to the world in 1948 thanks to the vision of Lucy Beswick. The family of porcelain figurines initially consisted of 10 characters from the author’s beloved series of children’s books. The first characters in the figurine series included reader favorites such as Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddle-Duck. They proved to be quite popular with collectors and other characters were soon to follow much to the delight of collectors around the world. Today these whimsical figurines can command rather impressive prices and they’re definitely still a hit with collectors of fine porcelain figurines. Collecting by the various different markings allows the collector to collect in many different prices ranges.
